Video Art
Andreas Troeger collaborated since 1985 with artists such as Alexeij Sagerer, Rabe Perplexum, Lennie Johnson, Silvia Kirchhof, Nam June Paik, John Sahag, Olek and Iara Lee.
His Video installation STORM (in collaboration with Silvia Kirchhof) was shown in internationally renown galleries.
Strom - Electric Art
Strom (current or flow) is flowing water in a powerful dimension. Then came electricity. It, too, flows. One experiences Strom only in its consequences: heat, cold, light, sound, image, movement. One never sees Strom itself.
Though this electricity has two poles. A positive and a negative: use and misuse. The negative aspect; electric shock as penalty: torture, death on the electric chair. Current as the cause of the ceasing of all flows.
